Thanks Giggirl for your support, I shall wear it always. Just a snippet of the sort of snappy dialogue the cinema-going public have been deprived of.

Just to keep you up to date, my spurious wardrobe team are suing Clooney's people for the unreal work they put into the costumes they didn't make for him, in order that he could fully create on-screen the complex and nuanced character that is me.

Somewhere in an illusory warehouse hang a dozen royal blue towelling bath robes. Each artfully stained with marinara sauce.

Such a waist.

Anyhow should Clooney ever show up in SE22, then my make believe staff have been instructed to issue a press release that praises him as an actor and director, while subtly implying that he does himself no favours in having better looking chums such as Pitt and Damon.

That'll teach him for turning his nose up at a project like 'I Scream You Scream We All Scream For Ice Cream'

Not at all Perkulator.

Though in fact if you take 'unsavoury' as meaning sweet, then it could be alluding to a sex act.

'Going into the kitchen', involves blancmange, bottom, nose and thumb.

The nose and thumb are used to 'cock a snook', the other elements are of course involved but I'm going to have to look them up.

Not that I don't recognize this wasn't that popular last time (easily as popular as oooooh.... my c30 C60 c90 compilation thread) , but as it's that time of the month, I'm going to nominate for the month of November:

Jeremy

As well as upping his posting frequency, he often has a just-different-enough take on things which he communicates in an unshowy but solid style. To the point where he has become one of those posters where, if he is the last poster on a thread which I wouldn't normally go near I'll have a peek

Thanks SMG.

It's just because I'm bored at work though... so give the award to my boss.

HonaloochieB has a certain way with words... probably gets my vote. I wish Louisa would come back though, I really miss logging on to find yet another strongly-worded comment which has got the whole forum up in arms.

Give to KK then. What the feck do I care. She's been posting long enough. Dedicated follower of the forum and all that stuff. Must want it badly. I met Jeremy last night in the flesh so to speak, albeit briefly and I have to say what a splendid chap he is, so he still gets my vote. Sorry KK and James.

    • Elliot just fitted 5 internal doors for us and the process from start to finish was excellent. He was very quick to come back with a quote and to fit us in for the job. The job was actually completed in the time quoted which was very refreshing!! The work completed was of the highest quality and great value. We will happily recommend him now to friends who need carpentry work completed in the future
    • Peter and his team did excellent work on my flat in Nov 24 sorting vents fans and dampwork. The suggestions he made for sorting the damp have proved very effective for a long-standing and tricky problem. Efficient responsive and well priced.
    • I started this petition about 10 years ago in relation to the Heygate 're-development' (which was corrupt to the core imo). Unfortunately it didn't change anything. But the stats quoted are still shocking. Southwark ended up making a loss on the sale of a hugely valuable piece of central London land and turfed many, many families from their homes in the process. It's the same story - you have massive property / development companies, who manage to completely out manoeuvrer / run circles aorund councillors, often destroying communities and doing very little to make properties more affordable or address the housing crisis. Rather, they add further 'heat' to an out of control, international 'property investment' market. We need more council housing - high density, but mid rise imo.
