Let's start a petition for a giant perspex cloche to descend on ED to preserve the way of life we know and love.

They are currently on special on Rumplestiltskin.com

I disagree. You might not like what s/he said in that post, but it wasn't offensive. Not saying other posts weren't, but that one defo not.

I'm looking forward to the new Spanish deli on North Cross road and was glad to see Pretty's fruit n veg stall this morning :) I like a good mix, Oliver Bonas has some nice gift things and cafe Nero has great staff and lots of buggy space which is very handy for mums... My fave new addition is the Mary Portas Save the Children clothes shop which has lovely stuff and helps a worthy cause when you buy :)

For those that are wanting to shop locally and encourage local businesses (don't we all?) check out free loyalty card scheme [http://www.livelovelocal.net] has loads of discounts and deals, inc Lordship Lane carpets and the therapies at Goose Green clinic (everything from acupuncture to counselling and cranial sacral massage)... • According to https://www.compass-pools.co.uk/learning-centre/news/the-complete-guide-to-swimming-pool-maintenance/: ... "Your weekly tasks should include: ...  Checking the pH levels and adjusting the water balance ... The ideal pH rating of swimming pool water is between 7.0 and 7.6. Anything lower than 7.0 and metals and pool finishes can start to corrode, while anything above 7.8 and there can be issues with scaling due to calcium salts in the water and chlorine becoming ineffective." And for comparison of different pH values, see for example the examples chart at https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z38bbqt#zb2kkty There are several other sites that can easily be found that say something about variation and correction of pool pH levels.
