Let's start a petition for a giant perspex cloche to descend on ED to preserve the way of life we know and love.

They are currently on special on Rumplestiltskin.com

I disagree. You might not like what s/he said in that post, but it wasn't offensive. Not saying other posts weren't, but that one defo not.

I'm looking forward to the new Spanish deli on North Cross road and was glad to see Pretty's fruit n veg stall this morning :) I like a good mix, Oliver Bonas has some nice gift things and cafe Nero has great staff and lots of buggy space which is very handy for mums... My fave new addition is the Mary Portas Save the Children clothes shop which has lovely stuff and helps a worthy cause when you buy :)

For those that are wanting to shop locally and encourage local businesses (don't we all?) check out free loyalty card scheme [http://www.livelovelocal.net] has loads of discounts and deals, inc Lordship Lane carpets and the therapies at Goose Green clinic (everything from acupuncture to counselling and cranial sacral massage)... • I've worked on sustainable transport for a number of years and I doubt it.  A mix of performance, hi tec and possibly status.  Drivers of say a Nissan Leaf or a Zoe, certainly early adopters, yes the environment is a key factor. I've test driven many EVs in my career and Tesla was my least favourite apart From an entry price Indiab car, made for mass adoption in Asia where the quality was awful. I started a thread on EV recommendations but got no interest apart from some silly comments.  Perhaps some of you have a Tesla and think differently. My dislike pre dates Trump becoming a fanatic.
    • So pleased to have discovered Victor and Karl through the recommendations on this forum. They have done 2 jobs for me now, putting up pictures and installing  and painting a new shed door. They  were punctual, reliable and nice to have around the house. The workmanship was excellent and the costs very reasoable.I was more than happy. I will be using their services again soon
    • Will be definately using Greg again. We needed a tap fitting in the kitchen. No easy feet as you had to be a contarshonist to even get at the fitting. All replaced and left immaculate within the hr.
    • Hi everyone, I'm writing an article about Belair House for The Telegraph. If anyone would like to share their thoughts about the sex parties / the Tesla launch etc. please do get in touch with me! My email is katewillsfreelance@gmail.com Many thanks Kate
