Shu.Kurimu.Sensei
How about a thread for stuff that is free? In the current economic climate, free things are nice.I'll start off with a free calender :))http://ojara.net/cl/2009/index_e.htmlAll you need is:A - to find someone with access to a colour printer which handles paper bigger than A4B - Erm, to re-do the public holidays as they are different. Keef
I wouldn't have said so, it's not the same, and that section is crap, unless it's put at the top as a sticky. SeanMacGabhann
How come "crap?"I don't read it that much but it gets more readers than most of the rest of the forum I believe Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4300-free-stuff-thread/#findComment-137608 Share on other sites
Keef
Crap probably a bad work, but it just gets so much traffic, I think there should be a "for sale" / offered section seperate from the recommendations section.I admit I am slightly biased, as someone took it upon himself to recommend Bare Groove after we played his wedding, and it was a lovely write up, which was on page 3 by the end of that day!Anyway, I still think this particular thread doesn't belong there, it's not about something specific, it's a thread for people to say they've found something free and share it. So, unless it was sticky at the top of that section, it would just be lost and forgotten. Jeremy
Perhaps the wanted/offered section should have sub-sections:-Items for sale-Free stuff-Items wanted-Tradesmen recommendations/requests-Activities/sports partners/musicians-Places/pubs/restaurants/shops-Pets-Misc Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4300-free-stuff-thread/#findComment-137637 Share on other sites

Shu.Kurimu.Sensei
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YViJ9KagCJ4Its a kind of "Visual Novel", a style of game that goes back to the Famicom/Nes days (probably further back than that)which were also popular on the FM Towns / Sharp x68000 series, gaining a wider audience on the PC Engine Disc system, PSX and Saturn etc. This style of game is a fairly new thing to the western market. You should be able to pick up the first 2 in the series for peanuts for the DS I reckon nowadays.Going back on track, some 8-bit joy for free here:http://lifehacker.com/394597/firenes-brings-2000-nes-games-to-your-browser Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4300-free-stuff-thread/#findComment-137723 Share on other sites
