EDdownunder
This is my debut post after moving to ED last month so let me start by saying hello to all.I am looking to join a gym and the research so far seems to lean towards either JAGS, Fusion or Canons at London Bridge. I have checked out JAGS and ESPH and the latter was way too expensive considering it doesn't have a pool or any obvious reason to pay double. JAGS does seem a bit small in terms of its fitness area and seems to have limited free-weights. Does anyone on here go to JAGS, and if so can you tell me what the classes are like and any general comments? The only other gym that seems to be nearby is Fusion and this seems to have mixed reviews.Alternatively if I can't decide I will stick with Canons at London Bridge, but I would like to hear the views of this MB before I decide. Thanks! :D Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4274-gyms-in-ed/ Share on other sites
Ted Max
Welcome.Hamlets Health Club is another one. Next to Sainsburys. I know nothing about it except it is there. Gyms are not my thing. Jeremy
Presumably you put an apostrophe in the subject, as "gym" is an abbreviation of "gymnasium". Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4274-gyms-in-ed/#findComment-136792 Share on other sites

Jeremy
Potentially. Although there are some far more pedantic people than me on the forum, I'm sure they'll latch onto this thread at some point. Moos
Yes Jeremy, but you were the one that 'latched onto' poor EDdownunder on his/her first post. Nice.Hi EDdownunder! EDdownunder
Thanks Moos, I am enjoying living in the area so far, and to date I have avoided the much feared pedantics that Jeremy alludes too. God help me if my thread leads them to me. Gulp. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4274-gyms-in-ed/#findComment-136810 Share on other sites

Moos
Pedants can be found lurking just next to stroppy people who tell them off. Both should be avoided at all costs. Here's to interesting days, may there be more of them.
