Just a heads-up to anyone driving (or particularly cycling) down Whately Road this afternoon, there is an orange cover over a skip which isn't properly secured and is blowing into the path of oncoming traffic. Nobody appears to be working at the moment (they may be on a lunch break) on the house outside of which the skip is 'parked'.

      Supermarkets refusing to honour price on the shelf

      Never had a problem with the discount being applied with a "club" loyalty card, so Tesco and Sainsburys have been fine, however in Morrisons a reduced price advertised on the item, took a photo just in case, at checkout charged full price even though photo shown as evidence. Some dodgy practices being undertaken.

      Hi everyone. My name is Joe and I'm hoping to launch a Coffee Bike business in East Dulwich in the next few weeks. One of the last things I'm really struggling with is securing overnight storage for the bike. It's very heavy to ride and I'm unable to store it at home, so it needs to be somewhere in East Dulwich. I've tried a few businesses to see if they have anything but no luck. Dulwich Storage on Lordship lane are not taking any new bookings at the moment.  If anyone has any ideas or can help I would be really grateful.  Many thanks in advance. Joe

      Many many decades ago when I was a student I started to smoke a pipe. It was a little wooden  "ladies pipe" according to the tobacconist. I think I must have thought it would look cool. That didn't last long. I couldn't keep it alight 🤣 I quite liked Old Holborn (or maybe I'm confusing tobacco types. Is that just for ciggies?) , but I preferred Clan.  Coffee all tastes much the same to me. Probably my palate has been ruined by the pipe smoking 🤣
