Now spring is here, I started my vespa up this morning, and discovered the battery is flat. I also decided to check the MOT cert, and found out it expires tomorrow...

There are a million garages in the area and a million scooters. Does anyone know anywhere within rolling distance of Lordship Lane that can a)charge my battery and b) sort out my MOT.

Thanks

Shaggy - the one in Peckham Tom mentions is Honda Riders 02 7732 44 66. I would recommend them too. I have wheeled my scooter there from Crystal Palace Road (hard work but just about do-able!). I have also arranged for them to get someone to pick it up from my house and delvier it to them (I think their mate charged ?20).

I had problems with my Vespa battery - I suggest you just get them to fit a new one.

Dell Autos (Hansler Road I think) also helped me out once as they have a portable battery charger/tester, when I rocked up and gave them a sob story (I think I bunged John a tenner for his time). Good luck.

    • The first 9 months hasn't been a total calamity - not if you compare it to what came before. People have lost all sense of proportionality if they think Labour are THAT bad But If 2015 went differently we would have avoided Corbyn Brexit 5 prime ministers in 6 years   seems like a fair trade

If their aim was to "pee" off every bit of society then they have well and truly succeeded. The next General election can't come quick enough to see this lot booted out, and based on current performance, they've made it clear to the electorate that they are not to be trusted and will be in opposition for many, many, many years.
