Hey guys, I live in Peckham Rye with my hubby and our beautiful baby. I want to start an informal foodie group for local mums or others who are around during weekdays. My thought was to host a social event at our home (could rotate to others if of interest) every couple of weeks to swap recipes, sample goodies, etc. The Great British Bake-off without Paul and Mary! Open to ideas on the format, just get in touch if it sounds like something of interest.

    • You may have more success posting on ED facebook….personally, not a fan  of social media but where I have moved to in the country, this seems to be the main way  of communication. A suggestion for you - well a couple actually - there is a cafe at the edge if Telegraph Hill which might be worth a shot with a pizza stand attached - from memory think it is called White Rabbit or something like that. Cafe has odd evenings when they have music  as well. Not sure if you are to young but give them a go. Get some leaflets/cards done and pop through letterbox or on car windscreen in local area offering your services to clean cars… sure you have done this already. Wish you all the best.
    • Thank you so much for this - really appreciate it.
