ChavWivaLawDegree Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 No it's dangerous for a cyclist to have to start at the same time as the other traffic.We are basically pedestrians on wheels, like skateboarders, roller skaters etc - we don't have the protection or speed other road users have so should really have proper seperated cycle lanes or shared space on pavements.To lump cyclists with buses, cars, vans etc on the roads is dangerous for cyclists. We can start at the same time when in that postion ... infact I think we are quicker than buses and a lot of vans and cars from the lights.
