Hi

I just wanted to recommend my cleaner of 3 years, and she's got a couple of spots that have become available in her weekly schedule due to people moving away. She really is a gem to snap up!

She has one space on Wednesdays, fortnightly for 2-3hours, for anyone in the underhill road area, or towards Peckham rye station.

And another one in Brixton (or Angel) on Tuesdays for 3 hours

I've recommended her in the past on here, and everyone's been really happy. I've also recommended her to a friend, and neighbour and they're thrilled with her too.

She is Bulgarian and while her english is limited, you can still have conversation, but she is lovely, incredibly polite, reliable and is such a hard worker, and consistently leaves the house sparkling and spotless each week.

I have a 3 bed house and have her for 3 hours each week, and she is so reliable, she does ironing and finds extra tasks to do that I don't expect - I'm not sure how she fits so much in.

I pay her ?10 / hr, and it's very good value for money.

If you want to chat to me about her I'll happily provide a reference over the phone. Just send me a PM with your location and any questions.

Hi

I just wanted to recommend my cleaner of 3.5 years, and she's got a couple of spots that have become available in her weekly schedule again. She really is a gem to snap up!

She has one space every fortnight on Tuesdays in the ED / Peckham rye area

Or every Friday in the W dulwich area (or ED / Peckham rye)

I've recommended her in the past on here, and everyone's been really happy. I've also recommended her to a friend, and neighbour and they're thrilled with her too.

Please PM me for more information.

You can contact her on 07459645021.

Thank you,

Karen.

Hi Rachael (& other posters)

I really appreciated you putting me in touch with your cleaner last week. The help she provided at the weekend was great.

Nothing was too much trouble - from tackling the dust that had accumulated around my radiators to tackling a mountain of ironing.

Thanks again.

I also have a great cleaner, Vita, who I can recommend. She lives in Forest Hill but cleans in Dulwich, Peckham, Forest Hill, Sydenham and Honor Oak. Very reliable. Please PM me for references, or call Andrei directly 07577 960273 (her boyfriend who speaks much better English - but you will have no problem communicating with her either :). thanks

Hiya

Again, I want to recommend my cleaner of 4 years, and she's got a spot that has become available in her weekly schedule on a tuesday as someone she works for is moving out of London.

She really is a gem to snap up!

She has one weekly space every on Tuesdays in the Peckham rye area and can start this coming tuesday

I've recommended her in the past on here, and everyone's been really happy. I'm sorry that I missed the replies to this thread before (I've just seen them - so sorry!) - I hadn't checked the box to notify me via email, or please PM me. I've amended this so I'll get back to messages asap (I've got a young baby so bear with me!)

I've recently increased her pay because she's so good from ?10/hr to ?12.50 / hr, but I'll leave that to you to discuss with her obviously!

If you want to chat to me about her I'll happily provide a reference over the phone. Just send me a PM with your road name/postcode, how many hours you want her to work for, and any questions and I'll put you in touch asap.

Thanks

Rachael

    • Time will tell if H&B are loved or loathed, the footfall they get and generate will determine if they stay or go. That's the nature of businesses, they come and go dependant on usage. Examples are M&S, Poundland Local, Co-op, Superdrug, Mons, the chain restaurant/takeaways, the chain Estate Agents, Toolstation, Screwfix to name a few.  As much as people would like to see Lordship Lane remain a high street of independents, it is becoming clear that due to Landlords hiking rents, some are unable to survive. This leaves empty units which some of the chain brands considering it to be worth a "punt". I'd have thought that businesses operating in shops is a better alternative than a high street with multiple empty units, but what do I know, they are just thoughts on the subject.   Take a look at Croydon and Bromley where what were once thriving high streets are in decline.  I have to say that some of the prices charged by the independents are eye watering, and incomes i'd have thought have to be substantial to afford their prices. Personally I'd love a Lidl to open on what was the site of the Harvester, but I guess that would get shouted down, oh the thought of Lidl in Dulwich. Whatever next.
    • IMO, Sealy, the best nights sleep you'll ever have.
    • I don’t know what the shop was originally next to the big St Christopher’s but if Holland and Barrett are taking it over then surely it’s good to have a choice on Lordship Lane? The Camberwell H&B is always empty but the Brixton branch busy.  I remember when the Marks & Spencer food shop was Iceland? Now the M&S is a very busy store and at the time regenerated the high street!
    • Nor would I have done, but it came up when I googled John Lewis reviews. Do you not trust TrustPilot reviews? Even allowing for the fact that many people only post reviews when they have had poor service, 27% one star reviews is indicative of something wrong, I would say. That's 27% of 76,392 reviews. That's an awful lot of people who don't  think the service they got from John Lewis was even worth two stars, let alone more. Screenshot attached.
