jadeyc
We've just moved to Nunhead (near the station) with our two small children. Looking for a decent GP surgery locally. Where's good? Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/41490-good-gp-in-nunhead-recommendation/ Share on other sites
Sarah9999
I've found Nunhead Surgery to be really good. Particularly good at getting appointments quickly or telephone consults for children/babies. The health visitors are also very nice and non preachy.Even the receptionists are exceptionally polite! Mae
I second Nunhead surgery- dr Williams, dr roe and dr yu particularly are lovely and very helpful especially with small children. Receptionists are all very friendly and pleasant. They go out of their way to give a good service in my experience eg phoning you to discuss things if no appointments, chasing up vaccinations etc Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/41490-good-gp-in-nunhead-recommendation/#findComment-722488 Share on other sites
nunheadmum
Another recommendation for Nunhead Surgery. Great for being accommodating with the kids. Usually always arrange for the GP to call back if busy and will then fit them in if really needed. Good common sense approach generally. Also Krystal pharmacist really good for non urgent advice. Skegness
Welcome to Nunhead near the station.:) Nunhead Surgery is the best GP surgery ever. Dr Roe and Mary the practice nurse are 2 of the nicest people I've ever met, I think. KikiMac
Yes, lucky you, you've moved to exactly the right catchment for a brilliant surgery! Love the Nunhead Surgery. Everyone from receptionists to GPs is great. mich
Another vote for nunhead surgery! I moved to another surgery because I moved location and went running straight back to the nunhead surgery within a month - counting my blessings that I was still in the catchment area. Kes
I really like Dr Iu at Nunhead surgery and I never have problems getting an appointment. The reception staff are very nice and helpful too, as are the nurses. But a couple of the other doctors haven't been so great and it drives me mad that I have to drag all the way to Dulwich hospital or Kings every time I need a blood test!I guess I was spoilt though as my previous surgery in Elephant and Castle was wonderful. njc97
Kes - they do blood tests at the Honor Oak practice which might be less of a pain to get to. Kes
Presumably I'd then have to be registered in honor oak though which would be less convenient for everything else? It's not a big deal but I was really surprised by it when I moved here, there has always been someone who could do it at previous surgeries.
