Last night's guy swabbed but obviously that result isn't known; he suspected staph. Today's guy just looked and said she wasn't infected and he's come from a country where you see much worse things. Some of the lesions have started to heal over and she's not running a temperature. So that's that. She has blood running out of some of them and we can't get the oral antibiotics into her but it doesn't seem I can do much more.

How much volume are the oral antibiotics in a single dose? For example 2 mL?


You can try using a dropper to give mini-doses, as these are easier to swallow and harder to spit out. For example, give just 0.2-0.5 mL in a single dose, and repeat this every couple of minutes until you've given the entire dose. Definitely worth pursing the results from the swab, just to be sure.
