Condensation problem in new build - surveyor recommendation

We have a 1 bed ground floor new build and we have a severe condensation problem. The flat is just over a year old and showed no signs of the problem until we moved in. Now water is literally running off the french doors, pooling and making the walls near the door mouldy. WE have had conflicting advice - one that it is a new build and needs to dry out and another that the aluminium windows do not have adequate insulation and so conduct cold air straight to the flat.

We really want to get to the bottom of this - can anyone recommend a surveyor/ damp expert who could give us a straight answer?

Try changing the air in the flat twice a day (open the windows).

- and avoid drying your washing indoors: invest in a tumble-dryer.

lillianhofstader - it's not an insulation problem, no windows need to be sealed.
