Called Steve out to fix a washing machine, having first used him almost a decade ago. He is still absolutely brilliant. Fixed my machine, sorted out why my dryer wasn't working, and was just an all round good egg in less than half an hour. AND refused to take a tip!

His number is 07921 777428.

I've used Steve twice and was completely satisfied. On his last visit he carried out my repair and advised me of an impending fault that was not worth repairing due to the age and replacement cost of my machine. I also like the fact that he is a local business. polite and prompt.

Top man Steve the Spin Doctor ! We were resigned to buying a new washing machine . Steve arrived and fixed the problem in 2 minutes --saved me a fortune ! also fixed a drier and dishwasher and left within 20 minutes which included a pleasant chat with a great ,helpful bloke ! If only every tradesperson was like Steve !

Another recommendation for Steve! Advised us for a sensible and affordable replacement for our dishwasher when it was broken beyond repair, and kindly fixed our new one without any judgement of our lack of knowledge!! Very polite and efficient, would definitely use again.

I just want to do a shout out for Steve, London Spin Doctor...he came to the rescue after my machine stopped working just as I was setting off for a weekend camping...on my return I was faced with a good few loads of dirty clothes and in despair. Steve came out and within an hour the machine was fixed (don?t put leave hair clips in your pockets, another mark against having a fringe cut in summer).

He said if it does have another issue, as it?s a few years old and parts for the make are expensive he?ll advise me on a good, new machine.

He?s ace! [londonspindoctor.com]

Another recommendation for Steve who fixed our dishwasher in no time and with no fuss or mess. He was quick to respond to messages and so helpful and friendly. He also fixed our machine in our old house a few years ago so it was great to see him again. Thanks so much Steve!

Another recommendation from me - gave me advice over the phone to get our washing machine back up and running then came out to check it over and hopefully fix it. Have used before, doubtless will again (but hopefully not for a long time!)

    • would be odd if both virgin AND Microsoft felt you needed to do something with your phone. Almost certainly a scam   Saying that - a quick google shows there can be an issue between MS Outlook and Virgin re emails   Paste the text of the messages in here and we can have a look     sometimes the address can be similar - bit not quite right - as another way to fool

    • Place your on-screen cursor over the name of the sender, the sender's actual email address should appear, often with scammers it comes up with  a very unbusinesslike address. Failing that, you should be able to speak to Virgin and ask if legit, Microsoft on the other hand I wouldn't bother trying to contact...
