maxxi
Used to be a cold bottle of Jolt from the 7/11 on the Walworth Road and a hot salt-beef bagel - these days a cold full-fat coke, paracetamol and ibuprofen, a strawberry mivvi, bacon & egg sarnie on bloomer. Do nothing for an hour or two. Then an ice cold beer. Jah Lush
Normally I'd advise as much sleep as possible but if you don't have that option take four painkillers (your choice, the stronger the better in my opinion), wash down with a quadruple Kahlua topped up with milk in a pint glass. Down in one. Followed by a toasted bacon, cheese and tomato sandwich smothered in Sriracha hot chilli sauce. A jug of fresh coffee and some fresh orange juice. Take a long hot shower and you're ready to go again. The fresh air that hits as you leave the front door will also be beneficial to your sense of well being. If travelling on public transport try not to engage with anyone. Do not make eye contact. They mean you harm. Wear shades. At work, keep your head down and get on with it. Oh, and take your shades off. You'll look a prat. Horsebox
Water, painkillers/alka seltzer, a banana, 2 cups of tea. I'm normally a keen coffee drinker - 3 espressos to get me out the door in the morning, but I can't touch the stuff when hungover. And a second sleep is absolutely vital, otherwise try to eat something with a bit of fat & carb - Jah's toastie and Sriracha is a great idea. KidKruger
After big beers I neck 3x pints of water before crashing out, it's a ritual.Take another pint of water to bed.You get up to pee a bit.Next morning plenty tea and full breakfast local cafe which is a sort of watershed - either I can face the day after that or it's back to bed, but I have to force it either way so I know where it is. Ladygooner
Try dioralyte - you drink it in water plus it replaces the essential minerals and salts you destroyed Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/41136-best-hangover-cure/page/2/#findComment-719989 Share on other sites
Otta
It is good, but it does make me feel sick with it's salty blackcurrent flavour. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/41136-best-hangover-cure/page/2/#findComment-720010 Share on other sites

Everyone is different, and a lot of the things suggested on here would make me instantly feel sick. I reckon it defo had some illicit substance in it as it was magical how it worked so well. No explanation. Just taken off the shelves. You sometimes find a packet in independent stores. I found my stash in the 24/7 on Bellenden. I've been offered good money for it.
