fg73
We've just walked home past a new Indian take-out restaurant called Rajah Rowing Team who have their opening night tonight (near the library). They invited us in for free samples and a glass of wine to help them celebrate. So delicious and super friendly! If you haven't eaten yet, go along and try their food :-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/40971-new-indian-take-away-on-lordship-lane/ Share on other sites

KidKruger
Sounds a bit too similar to BBC for me, that place was pants. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/40971-new-indian-take-away-on-lordship-lane/#findComment-717805 Share on other sites
StraferJack
that was my instant thought as well KK - given how low their reputation was why would someone try and piggy back the location/actvity/group idea?Anyway, it IS the same bloke (or one of them anyway)http://www.putneysw15.com/default.asp?section=leisure&page=revrajahrow001.htmSo it'll be expensive and bland at best Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/40971-new-indian-take-away-on-lordship-lane/#findComment-717817 Share on other sites
missse22
Did make me and my partner laugh extremely loud when we went in to BBC for a take away only to see 2 polish women cooking in the kitchen!! Seemed so weird! Not saying polish women can't cook Indian food but it felt so unauthentic! I mean its like going into a Chinese restaurant and a big Rasta coming out as the chef!! muffins78
Has anyone had a takeaway from Yumea in Clapham Junction? I haven't in ages, but it used be absolutely delicious. Its more chinese type cooking and cooked in front of you! I so wish they'd open around here, as we are too far for a delivery. :( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/40971-new-indian-take-away-on-lordship-lane/#findComment-718308 Share on other sites

tomszekeres
Tried it on Friday, really very good ? from the Poppadoms right through to the Murgh Dhansak. We did find a long blonde hair in one of the dishes which was a bit off-key, but the food was fantastic nonetheless. larrylandell
First takeaway from Rajah and it was very good. Normally wouldn't bother writing a comment on a takeaway but this place is a good addition so worth a quick recommendation. peggoula
Yes we had takeaway from there last week and as we live 3 mins away went to collect. When I called to order they said to me it would be 10 mins till the food was ready!!! I guess that means nothing was exactly cooked "to the minute", nevertheless tasted delicious. Much better than BB where everything tasted the same...
