Mrs TP
I went to put a black bin bag of household rubbish in our green bin today and noted the bag already in there had been ripped open. Defo not by an animal, as the lid was closed and the rubbish was still contained with the bag. Also you could see stretch marks in the plastic bin bag were someone has pulled it to open it. V weird. I'm in Bellenden area. Anyone else noticed similar? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/40598-someone-has-been-through-my-bin/ Share on other sites
Vik
I noticed 3 ladies rummaging through a bin on Ivanhoe yesterday, they seemed to be pulling out small electrical items. LuceB
People go through our bins all the time up near the top of P Rye park. I just ask them to leave it all tidy and close the bins after. And I make sure I don't throw away anything with my name and address on it. They're looking for stuff that can be re-used or sold I guess (I've seen them take household items, shoes as well as electricals - which shouldn't be in the bin anyway)and I think that if they are prepared to/need to do that, then it's not doing me any harm. And some stuff that gets thrown away has lots of life in it - it's hands-on recycling! grace3
30 years ago in Bellenden the bin would have been gone. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/40598-someone-has-been-through-my-bin/#findComment-715047 Share on other sites
