Screen on the Green - success?

Mr P and I went to see Some Like it Hot in Dulwich Park last night and had a really lovely time!! Picnic-ing on the grass while watching a classic film was a fab way to spend the evening. I really hope that it was a success for the organisers and that they are able to go ahead with their plans for more next summer.

I agree. We had a lovely night. Please put more films on and maybe it would be nice if they held other similar events.

I had a lovely evening, despite being bitten alive by midges! Let's hope there's another one soon as it was so good to be under the stars watching a great film :))

So good to watch a film outside, especially such a good film. Blankets and cuddling up just made it better.

Not quite Monroe, but I think that there are a few evenings of Shakespeare coming soon.

Unfortunately will still be Midge season though.

Had a great night as well! Brought three rugs and needed them all. Was lovely to be lying out under the stars. There was a lovely atmosphere there and some people really do take their picnicking seriously! More of the same please!

It was cold but I found drinking nearly a whole bottle of Pimms quickly numbed our limbs.

I took a rug to sit on and the OH and I had a blanket each for warmth and cushions too. A few beers and we were set, though agree that some took their picnicing very seriously!

Starting this Sunday & running for a week.

Tickets are ?15.00..... I think.
