Real Owls in ED / Peck Rye?

Wierd I read this thread.

I am sure I heard an owl a few nights ago (corner of Adyd Rd and Ondine Rd). I dismissed this thought as I live in london.

Sounds like there is a Tawny owl around. Maybe it will eat the mouse that I saw two nights ago that is eating the spoils of the bird food (wishful thinking).

They are around Peckham Rye alright but only come out at night.

Hi Mrs TP.

There most definitely are owls in and around Peckham Rye Park. At least one pair of little owls, and tawny owls too.

Now is a great time to get a sighting as the evenings are closing in.
