This balance between THC and CBD being the crucial factor as to whether the cannabis you take causes psychosis or not was part of the content of a Horizon programme some years ago. It is the high levels of THC and low levels of CBD that makes skunk so dangerous the programme pointed out

Sad to say it's not much use to give us the TV reference when we cannot view that Horizon programme on iPlayer uncleglen.

The important thing is to continue the flow of information, partly to help teenagers stay updated and partly to help long term smokers.

In common with plenty of other readers I expect, lost some dear ol'pals to the negative influence of weed, even though we all read books which told us it was harmless, and believed legalisation was the way forward.

Maybe, maybe.

I like to think about unintended consequences as i like Freakeconomics.

I am in no way glamorising drug dealers/dealing and particularly at the hard end the violence that goes with it etc...but taking it 'off the street' will take A LOT of money off the street and give it to the man - e.g. Glaxo/John Player/ GrassRus plc, etc.

No simple answer BUT that will happen.

Currently the man is a bunch of chaps in Mexico that delight in the most brutal form of governing.

At least Glaxo can put some of the profits into drugs that save lives and stuff.

The drugs trade is hideously taxed, just not by the man or by Osborne. It certainly isn't some leveller picking up the little guy, it's just misery and exploitation across the entire supply chain.

Legalise it.

As for skunk, well it has it's moments, but I'm old fashioned and I never really did see eye to eye with all this green stuff, natural or no.

Not that I've been within a country mile of the stuff since about 2001

But what a great opportunity when they apply for jobs in the shops 'relevant experience: 10 years dealing; relevant knowledge: an anoraks discernment on very nuance of weed and resin' the jobs yours, just don't steal from me or I'll shoot you....sorry, force of habit....
