mockney piers
Clare, I went with a combination of the roasted peppers, which everyone loved (I also added some cream cheese and chopped hot peppers) and Jeremy's glazed fowl, I used Havana Club tres a?os as i hadn't managed to get calvados, and it worked a treat, with a quick mushroom risotto and some steamed fennel, all with a jus/gravy made ot of the peppers and chicken juices, and a dash of cornflour.I shall be using all suggestions in due course. top effort dulwich. We didn't manage the Drum in the end, she's not good with smoke and my cough is still pretty bad, but she loved lordship lane, leash and all ;) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/403-anyone-a-saturday-drum-regular/#findComment-8537 Share on other sites
clare
Lucky your mum. My mum coming this Thurs. She may be given an ASBO. I have banned her from ED for saying loudly "what a load of expensive tat", from the Blue Mountain for asking for Nescafe and "no frothy", from Pretty Traditional for scoffing at people who "are conned by buying organic food", from Hope and Greenwood "because Lidl is so much better value".......... do you have a muzzle ? Michael Palaeologus
Clare I empathise. My Mum thinks that there is "still a war on". How that is an excuse for eating tinned new potatoes is beyond me.
