Pub quizzes in ED this Bank Holiday weekend?

do you lot know which pub quizzes are on, and where, this coming weekend? I've been to the Mag and the Gowlett ones in the past but I know that at least one of those is (in)definitely off!

Didn't the pub quiz man from the Mag move to the Herne? I could be wrong but it might be worth checking if you liked it...

Not really the weekend but the plough's pub quiz on a Thursday night is pretty good.

My folks are coming up to visit from Fri afternoon to Tuesday morning, was wondering what's on. Does anyone know if there's one at the Herne on Sunday? (They're not answering their phone at the moment) Or any others anywhere else in that time frame, for that matter?

Have you looked for possibilities in the what's on thread, if all else fails take them to the only backwoods pub in ED The Castle, it'll take them right back to their mis-spent youth, and they apparently have the best guinness in the district.

Take them to the Herne on Sunday, the food is excellent according to that well known foodie Marmora Man, and the wait will keep them amused and kill a few hours.
