Family friendly cafe or pub for a big group in east dulwich?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm looking for a recommendation for a pub or a cafe for 8 adults and 2 kids (1 baby and a four year old) to drink/ wile away a Saturday afternoon! We were going to go out for lunch hut some of us are on a tight budget, so we are trying to find somewhere to meet for a drink instead. Are there any family friendly pubs that might have space to accommodate us?

I am the one with a baby, and while I'm an expert on east dulwich cafes, I don't know anywhere with enough space for 8 adults and a toddler as well.

The Bread of Life cafe on Barry Rd is great for space and value and child-friendly - check its open Sats though. And no booze! x

It's not open on Saturday. The Victoria Inn is great, and has a playroom.

The Herne - if it still has the play area outside? Or the Clockhouse seemed quite kid-friendly when I was in for lunch on my own recently, and not necessarily a place you 'have' to eat at.

The Ivyhouse on Stuart Road usually has lots of space, good choice of drinks and food. Recommended.

Victoria on Bellenden Road.

It has a designated family area and a huge playroom with plenty of toys.

Another vote for the Victoria. The Herne still had an outside play area just before Xmas. The Plough has loads of space, the food isn't great (although fine for toddler tea if you need it) but for drinks it's fine.

Would also recommend the Victoria. Maybe book a table though if you have a large group as they can get very busy at the weekend.

It's not in ED but The Old Nuns Head is incredibly child friendly. They have Burger Bear there on Saturday's at the moment so the food is fun too.

Victoria Inn, The Herne, The Plough on Lordship Lane close to the library... all good :) even The Bishop not massively busy Sat afternoon and plenty of seating esp near the back for families

A bit further away in Herne Hill the Florence has a children's playroom out the back, but you would need to be in the beer garden.

The Herne is fab and coped admirably with our NCT Christmas lunch (10 adults and 5 babies between 5 and 6 months). Food and service were great.

I'd go Ivy House. The Victoria is ok but playroom freezing cold and you have to be happy to leave kids alone, which would not work with a baby, and then the 4 yr old would have to play alone...
