It was cast iron and I got the piece back from Michael this evening. I am positively delighted with the outcome.

He has done a superb job and you would never even guess that it had been repaired. This is important to me as the piece is from a vintage item. So now it has been fully restored to its original condition. Result!

I am a retired qualified engineer and have dealt with many welders over the years and I must admit I was truly impressed with Michael's knowledge of the subject and his professionalism.

I resisted the temptation to delve too deeply into his secrets of welding cast iron - which as some of us know, is a very difficult exercise to get it right. I've always thought it is a bit of a black art. That aside, he has done a super job and I couldn't be more pleased.

Michael will be getting all my welding jobs in future.

Michael did some welding to repair my 90yr old solid fuel burner.

He welded the flue outlet back on and also fixed a hairline fracture.

Hi guys,

Michael came over today to fix a broken Chair for us. Really helpful chap and he did a sterling job. Explained what he was going to do and talked me through the work once it was finished. The whole job was done at our convenience, at our home which was perfect.
