Any switch to an IT related career is a good play generally. Its very possible for averagely talented people to earn ?100k+ with 1 years training , 3-4 years permie employee experience under your belt and then go contracting for ?450-?600 per day. They'll also go through their own personal Ltd co and so probably pay less tax.
