Hi all,

Sorry for lazy post but I've started researching this and it's already driving me crazy!

We have a standard ikea toddler bed and mattress, DD is ready to take the plunge and leave pull-ups off at night I think but we need a waterproof mattress protector first, just incase! All the ones I can find seem to be fitted to full single size, I was also hoping for one which doesn't "rustle".

Any recommendations gratefully received!

Thanks

We used something like this in the early days, though we put underneath the sheet to avoid it moving and to not make a big thing about a protector being there, was easy enough to whip off the sheet and protector when accidents happened, had two so that one could be in wash if needs be.

I have these for both of mine and they do Ikea sizes and feel lovely. Look for discount codes for them too. Sure I got 10% off through MumsNet and also they often do other codes.

    • Hello, I'm from Ireland and would love my children to be able to know the language - I can speak it but I'm not so good at teaching it. If there's anyone local who used to teach Irish at primary school (preferably Connemara Irish) and who'd like to tutor 3 boys aged 7-10 for an hour or two a week please do let me know. Thanks, Sarah
