Ant
I'm thinking of switching from Orange to 3. Can anyone tell me what they're like? Can you speak to a person if you call customer services or do you just get loads of automated menu option nonsense? TillieTrotter
Been with 3 for about 5 odd years and they are fine. Get better or more reception from them than my husband's vodaphone! Have always found their customer service really good too!! They have even changed to a different plan half way through my contract which I think is pretty decent of them. Also they are still cheaper than everyone else me thinks!! I pay ?25.00 for 750 texts and 200 minutes talk time a month. drum_saturdaygirl
I second Tilly on this one, they have provoded me flawless service for a lond time now. Not to mention that you get free video messaging which can always be a blast when you're bored! Jimmy Mac
I've been on 3 for a year or so with no probs. Downloading from 3 music store is easy..if you are bothered about that. Have used the phone abroad too...I've never had to bother with customer services...If you have found a good deal, go for it. You can check your usage, time left etc etc easily.JM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/393-mobile-phones-anyone-use-3-the-network-that-is/#findComment-8464 Share on other sites
katietatie
I've been with them for about three years, and they've generally been pretty good. Signal coverage is consistently sound, and their price packages are excellent. I've had a few dealings with customer services which have been reasonable but nothing to write home about. The main call centre is in India, although rumour has it that there is another one in Scotland that they use when things get particularly technical.... Ant
Thanks all,I ended up staying with Orange in the end. Free new phone (sony ericcson k800i), 400 anytime xnet mins and 1100 texts all for ?20 per month. But if I hadn't threatened to go to 3 I doubt I'd have done as well. Will still consider them when this new contract's up though. Keef
Have to say I'm happy with t-mobile flext 35. I was ready to leave t-mobile as my last contract was costing me a fortune (?100 a month!!!!!!). But I use my phone loads, and with this flext 35, it's the equlivilent of putting ?180 on a pay as you go phone for ?35 a month... For an extra ?7.50 you get unlimited web&walk which is really really handy!Best thing is there's no set amount of minutes/texts, you use your "credit" how you see fit...I feel like a salesman for t-mobile now :-S It's the best price plan I've had though.
