KEmma
Can anyone recommend any good pantos they know of this year, locally? Reasonably priced for a family of four? Thanks! :) x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39059-pantos/ Share on other sites

Pickle
We are going to the one in Catford on Xmas eve. Chances are it will be rubbish, but the kids will enjoy it! bluesuperted
Have read really good things about the Catford one actually - am going to attempt to get tickets for it. nunheadmum
We went to the Catford one last year and it was great for kids! Traditional, cheesy but with a few laughs aimed at the adults. Good old-fashioned panto as I remember it. And a relaxed approach that means you don't feel bad if the kids have to come and go during the performance.Just watch out for all the flashing toys on the way in!! Pickle
That's brilliant. I didn't look into it at all before booking, on the basis that the experience will be fun for the kids no matter what. I just booked last week and there were lots of tickets available. I paid ?60ish for 5 of us (youngest on my lap) for seats right at the front of the dress circle so the kids should have a fab view. Not too bad really, given we can catch a bus down there. Lunch at McDonalds beforehand will make their year :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39059-pantos/#findComment-700974 Share on other sites
redjam
I also recommend the Greenwich one - I've been a few times and it's usually pretty good (better than Bromley and even the much-vaunted Hackney Empire one the year I went). Not tried Catford yet. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39059-pantos/#findComment-701005 Share on other sites
