Just wondered is anyone else was getting it done & what problems if any they were coming up against. My old gas meter is on the wall in my hall in an enclosed cupboard thingy. When the men came to have a look, they told me it might be a problem, that they might not be able to connect the new pipes to the existing meter depending on how many bends there are in the existing pipework - they said the most they could manage is probably 3 bends & if I have more than this, they will have to put an outdoor meter next to my front door on the outside which I really do not want & if that wasn't all, they would have to install new exposed pipes in my hall right next to the old enclosed ones, which doesn't make any sense & look a right eyesore. I am sure there is a way round but I don't know what it is or how to go about it. Any views or help much appreciated.
