office / reception / admin work wanted please

Recommended Posts

My name is Tally Toogood and I am a recent graduate from Middlesex University, where I achieved a 2:2 in Business Economics.

I am really looking for an office based job to start my career the right way, I don't mind what kind of office job as I mainly want new experiences and to start a career path.

My previous experience in retail has given me the opportunity to gain various skills that will be beneficial for an employer.

Alongside my retail experience, I worked as a temporary office manager where I was in charge of organising invoices, dealing with contractors and suppliers. I also undertook many other basic office tasks like filing/typing.

Furthermore I feel the nature of my degree has given me the opportunity to expand my organisational and problem solving skills while expanding my knowledge with Microsoft office.

Personality-wise i am a bubbly person who is always optimistic about a task in hand. I put 100% in to everything i do and am a like-able person all round. Team player and work well individually.

Please give me a chance and you wont regret it

    • As we stop using royal mail we forget - not used it for 5 years then had a letter needed to go to a solicitor I used old stamps I've had for years - no they're not allowed you need posh bar coded ones now- that letters gone into the Ether -I'll try another. Tempted to go back to what I did in the 1980s write  "FIRST CLASS URGENT" on the front underlined and a return address on the back but it'll probably wind them up.

    • The EDF is social media, and it seems to have met its goals of connecting and engaging the local community. The 'media' part isn't a reference to the BBC, it refers to 'a substance that something grows in, lives in or moves through' as a plural of 'medium'. In the sense that the 'something' is people, then it does the job. Whe it comes to the BBC, the 'something' is information. For the most part the contribution has been positive. However, the downsides are driven by anonymity, and have allowed the worst of human nature to surface.
