Sorry but disgruntled needs to be in quotation marks ;-)

The employee in question wasn't disgruntled then?

disgruntled

dɪsˈgrʌnt(ə)ld/

adjective: disgruntled

1.

angry or dissatisfied.

synonyms: dissatisfied, discontented, aggrieved, resentful, fed up, displeased, unhappy, disappointed, disaffected, malcontent;

ETA: The use of the word "disgruntled" was not intended to indicate whether or not the employee's post was true - I have no idea, how could I have? But the post did not put the establishment in question in a good light, hence their reaction.

fair enough Sue, but no wasn't disgruntled, just responded to a customer's post(who was disgruntled) with honesty. It may have been 'negative' but it was the truth. Sorry, long time ago but couldn't let that slide, sorry!

Oh well, I doubt anybody else on here could give a damn :))

If they even know who the person/you was/are, which I didn't until today and still don't in real life.

And if you weren't disgruntled at all, why should it even have been in quotation marks?

I did say "if memory serves".

The details hardly matter, do they? It was only intended as an indication of why Le C********* won't allow discussion of itself on here.

Anyway, the thread is not about that establishment!

It was the owner's words and her justification for not allowing discussion about her establishment when in reality that wasn't the case.

But indeed this thread isn't about that establishment- people just got confused- so I will stop talking now or the owner will be threatening to sue the poor EDF again
