All@The EDF, I found a great Bathroom fitter courtesy of Rated People dot com

Trevor Eagan, aka Monumental Bathroom and Plumbing

He and various subcontractors (for plastering, electrical work etc) did a fab job fitting my new custom specified bathroom and WC, completing most of the work in 10 days from start to finish. Highly recommended.

  Oh dear. I waited for ages then used the power button. I had previously got a blue screen message saying the laptop had "run into a problem" and needed to restart. If memory serves, it was ok after it restarted, but then later wouldn't shut down. I did Google and apparently it is a common issue with Windows 10. I haven't had time to investigate yet. Wouldn't you usually get an onscreen message if the system was updating, telling you not to turn off your computer? It has just started ok, but I don't know what will happen now.
