Hello,

I am looking for Dachshund puppies for my mother for christmas, she loves dogs and now wants a new one. We own a boxer and a staff/collie. I am looking for anyone around London that may be selling Dachshund puppies or know someone that is.

My email is [email protected] if you are interested.

Thank you.

They're very cute, but have you ever owned one

Just about every one iv'e met or been near has been neurotic and/or bitten me

I blame the short legs

Jack Dee owned one (and that one bit me btw). Mind you I did chase it around Wandsworth common and then rugby tackled it to get it on a lead.

Thank you for all the replies lol, yes if you had rugby tackled me I probably would of bit you too. I have been look at rescue centres for Dachshund's but they all seem to be at least one or two years old and I'm looking for a puppy but thanks for letting me know

In my defence, I was chasing/heading off that dog. It escaped from the house and was heading flat out towards the road, a skip lorry was on a collision path should said dog run into the road.

Lucky for me i'd been running as part of a fitness regime, so managed to out run the dog and head it off, making it turn around at the crucial moment.

Seeing a Dachshund's little legs give in as I pursued it was my moment, so I dived and caught it & saved its little life. Though the dog didn't appreciate my valiant efforts and proceeded to bite me with some vigour.

As I fixed the dog to a purse string I was wearing, I noticed a woman with very obviously enhanced breasts sunbathing topless.

The dog had stopped biting me by that point.

    • Place your on-screen cursor over the name of the sender, the sender's actual email address should appear, often with scammers it comes up with  a very unbusinesslike address. Failing that, you should be able to speak to Virgin and ask if legit, Microsoft on the other hand I wouldn't bother trying to contact...
    • Bit hard to do that in the middle of the night without causing even more disturbance to other neighbours than the original barking! Are you sure you need to provide an address? There must be loads of instances where it's very hard to trace the source of a noise, and I certainly wouldn't want to be roaming around by myself in the middle of the night trying to track it down! It does need to be triple glazing, not double. I was told that it's what they use for office windows at Heathrow, but I've no idea if that's true. It doesn't make the room completely soundproof, but it does make a huge difference. There must be no gaps anywhere, even very thin ones, where noise could get through.
