SeanMacGabhann
No pressure here at top of Friern Rd - everything is DOPE man...oh - you mean WATER pressure?? Much spluttering from the tap when I put kettle on earlier but I had a shower without any bother Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3852-water-wheres-it-gone/#findComment-120796 Share on other sites
annaj
We were fine earlier, but now have low pressure.I've filled every vessel I can find in the kitchen. I still remember waking up with a terrible hangover and no water on Rodwell road a few years ago. We thought it would come back fairly quickly, but it lasted days. We had to ring MrJ's parents and beg them to come and get us so we could shower :-$ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3852-water-wheres-it-gone/#findComment-120800 Share on other sites

Fuschia
It's off again now. Luckily we have a stock of cheap bottled water for such contingencies.. plus the paddling pool happens to be full atm! ClareC
Very low pressure in Goodrich! Managed a shower but it was interesting to say the least!!! Combi boilers don's seem to work well with dodgy water pressure :-(How irritating! Fuschia
I must say, there have been quite a few water failures since I've lived in ED - I guess it's the ancient system here in London. It's always a bit scary when our electricity or water fails - just think we can't even run the dishwasher! Makes me think of some of my travels and countries where there isn't clean tap water available at all. We do rather take it for granted, don't we?Then think about if we were reduced to using water from a river.. then think about the countries where Nestle pushes baby formula on the populace .. and the number of babies who die as a result :-( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3852-water-wheres-it-gone/#findComment-120811 Share on other sites

redemily222
Just called Thames again and they now say 8:30 to 9. They can't fix the burst mains so are rerouting from other supplies.Lots of places open on Lordship Lane mind, although The Plough was closed when I went past there earlier Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3852-water-wheres-it-gone/#findComment-120863 Share on other sites
