Oksana, our lovely cleaning lady, told me today that she will have some vacancies from next week. I've had a number of cleaners over the years, and she's clearly the best. She not only cleans very thoroughly, but also tidies up and is very pleasant to be around. After she started at our house, even my parents noticed how much tidier the house was :-) Please pm me if you want to get in touch with her.

  Who is signing the petition? If they are real people, entitled to vote in the UK, guess what? Mainly Tory and Reform voters. Not really a surprise. And the opposition have not done themselves any favours with the new leader and others signing it. Move on, and come back in four years when we have the next GE.

  How would you have phrased the letter then? And what are these services they provide that "people pay for in droves that commercially justify keeping it open"? If keeping it open was commercially justified, then presumably they wouldn't be considering closing it. Have I misunderstood you?
