I'm looking for a reliable and keenly priced handperson to mend my shed and fix a couple of shelves. The protective sheet on the shed came off in the wind, need another one nailed down and part of the floor needs replacing. I need a couple of shelves putting back up in cupboard also. No doubt i'll need further bits in the future too.

  Our street put them out ready for collection last Tuesday, the rubbish and food bins were emptied but the trees weren’t taken, neighbouring roads were. All back in the front gardens ready for Tuesday. Don’t generalise.

  Christmas trees are pagan, not Christian. It’s the Winter solstice, although it’s obviously easy to overlook the meaning with the consumer fuelled marketing of Christmas. There are fewer trees on the streets than houses which mean that the majority of people dispose of theirs responsibly.

  Brexit does have a bearing on costs. Worse that the masses were promised cheaper prices.
