Brendan
Not sure, I seem to remember someone called Simon van der Stel who I think was a General in WW1 and a bloke called Shaka who was the Governor of the Cape Colony. mockney piers
And then there was Michael Caine who only came to build a bloody bridge, or something ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3807-i-feel-hostile-towards-french-looking-people-today/page/6/#findComment-123086 Share on other sites

Michael Palaeologus
...... and all "Eskimos" lived in Igloos, "Red Indians" lived in Teepees and "Mongols" didnt nescessarily live in Mongolia, but if they did they all road horses, all of the time, even when giving birth or engaging in intimate congress.A 1970s West Midlands comprehensive education was a marvellous thing to behold. Brendan
Glad you mentioned Michael Caine Mockney. He was the most significant figure in South African history up until, well you know who; Bob Geldof.I know what you mean Clive. If you have 100 displaced families living nomadically in ox wagons, 10 get eaten by warthogs, 15 get killed by zulus, 5 move to London to fix computers and return 3 years later married to uitlanders and 12 disappear for 7 years after a mysterious biltong related accident. What is the capital of Finland? Mongols do don't they?
