xxx - Anyone else had their card cloned?

I had my card cloned a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty sure it was the xxxx on xxxx. The annoying thing is that I usually pay cash at petrol stations because I know they're really dodgy for card cloning. However, a few weeks back I was at the xxxx at xxxx and didn't have any cash on me so I paid by card.

The one time I use me debit card at a petrol station and it gets cloned (6)

I believe there have been other posts suggesting the same, however, I would caution against suggesting naming them outright (slander).

I think a call to the police will prove fruitless, but maybe sending the garage owner an anonymous letter may warn him off....
