Mick Mac
Is this a storm in a teacup. Just saw a BBC newsman in Cardiff interviewed in a Berghaus jacket, looked like his hair was dry and unmoving but someone had brushed his jacket with warm olive oil to give it a wet glazed effect. Nothing happening, go to bed, no storm coming.M Fish. ???? StraferJack
couple of small trees/bushes on east Dulwich Grove out on street and lots of branches have been torn down. Couldn't use one of the walkways at elephant and Castle as a whole tree had fallen and blocked it offSo looks like we missed the worst of it - but it wasn't nothing Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/37852-slight-breeze-in-dulwich-alert/#findComment-691048 Share on other sites

An horrific would only be correct if you were pronouncing it 'orrific (not sounding the 'h') which you well maybe be - so don't drop your h's please. If you are pronouncing the 'h' it should be a horrific. Thank you. As you were. El Pibe
In fact 'a' and 'an' are correct in this instance.I'm do feel tha 'an' is a bit pompous though, and agree it only sounds ok if you're dropping that aitch.
