Lawboy
The photo in the article shows them in front of a Davina's Boutique sign. Mehinks the choo shop is already open. KM
unless you have seriously bad taste in footwear I wouldn't bother... not one nice shoe in the whole shop. The store on Northcross road is MUCH nicer. lard
They may not be to your taste. Taste is subjective, ie impossible to be "bad" or "good". Especially when you are talking about one of the leading footwear designers in the world. Asset
Jimmy Choo has nothing to do with the design of shoes in Davina Boutiqe. He is the mentor and second cousin of the woman who owns it. bon3yard
Apart from The Inoffensively bland White Stuff, there really is nothing at all geared towards men in the area. WHYISTHIS? oblivion
MrChoo must have owed his second cousin a favour. This wont be doing his reputation any good at all. Surely as Mentor he should have said something right from the start.... the name of the shop for starters... in any case, she has a SALE on already. Perhaps she wont even see the year out.... perhaps she should head back down Bromley way Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3777-a-new-footwear-store-for-east-dulwich/#findComment-120239 Share on other sites
shoshntosh
has anyone heard of the new shoes called "limos". apparently so vertiginously high that you can only manage to walk from your front door to the limo in them. made by christian laboutin.dulwich mum... are you wearing these on holiday? NatashaD
There isn't a single shop in the area that I would deem 'good taste', so Davina Boutique fits into the area well. I saw 4 'Dulwich Daddies' running about in their Crocs today, which was enough to make me storm out of the park in a fit of pique. At least one of the men, who was chasing his toddler around and talking ghastly 'parentese', had a beige pair on...fairly inconspicuous. On topic - good luck to Davina Boutique. She has presumably done some research on the area before opening up shop. I've thought over the years several shops would go bust, and they seemingly never have. I would not be so impertinent as to state why I think this is.
