I haven't been to Sweden. But I can verify that Denmark, which isn't too far away, seems to be absolutely chock-full of extremely good-looking types.

The British are a particularly ugly lot, unfortunately - although not quite as bad as the Irish.

Fortunately London is a indeed a melting pot and has managed to import some talent from abroad, raising the bar to a certain degree.

I beg to differ *B*, (excuse the familiarity). I once spent a bizarre christmas holiday in Jordan - many years ago - which at the time had some sort of deal whereby the sun-starved Danes got cheap flights to Jordan in the winter months. Some sort of Government sponsered vitamin D thang.

Aanyway, whilst I was there I happened upon many a Dane and the joke of the holiday became 'spot the ugly Dane' as they all seemed singularly pasty and potato faced. This is coming from someone who grew up in Scotland!!!

Nothing like these hottie Swedes......

Just seen the Swedish Video compared to Geordieland.Hard one to call-bet those Geordie Girls have got a better sense of humour than those Swedes.Thats what its all about,innit?..Well,isn't it?.I mean what kind of shallow person would prefer those sizzling Swedes?

    • And so an update, a message saying I had a telephone appt which they then changed to a double to deal with two issues at once. From originally booking to the appt has been four weeks, so disappointed, but appt booked in.
    • Yes, it wasn't exactly Lewes, he lived in a tiny place near Ditchling Beacon while he was running Hoopers  (maybe  he moved to Lewes after Hoopers closed?) Near enough Lewes, though! I can't remember what the place was called, or even if it had a name, there were only a few houses. Which was very weird, because I lived in Ditchling for a time many many moons ago, and I drove up the  tiny road which passed near  those houses every day on my way to work in  Stanmer Park (at that time the local college horticulture department was based there). It was a short cut to the park, and there was a locked gate halfway down the road, which I had a key to. No idea if things have changed now, it was a very long time ago. Very small world indeed. We only found out because  at Jamie's request we put on music in Hoopers for a time (including Wizz Jones), so we got to know him. ETA: Very sorry Lulark (and Admin), this has no relevance at all to your post.
    • Still remember the time shortly after I moved to Lewes and bumped into Jamie Hooper - turns out he had been living in Lewes the whole time he ran the pub in London
    • Found the thread:  Since that time The Gowlett closed and then reopened with a refurbishment and I believe under new owners.
