Wayward Wisteria - need gardener/handyman recommendation!

We've got wisteria climbing the front of our house which desperately needs trimming back/clearing out of drains (last done in July & gone wild since.

We need a gardener or handyman with their own tall ladder (as we don't have one) who'd be able to come asap - any recommendations for a reliable person?

Hi. I would be happy to help out. I have many recommendations on the forum & have pruned many a runaway wisteria. They need pruning twice a year & although a little late, should be ok to produce some flowers next year with a good feed. Give me a call if you think I can help.

Just in case anyone else is looking to do this for us, it's now been trimmed back (quicker than anticipated thanks to changeable weather yesterday!!) by Dave & Lee.

Fab job done & all while I was out so didn't even get to offer them tea/loo facilities!

Thanks to the forumites who recommended them to me :)

    • What is also happening - I don't know about Sainsbury's as I no longer shop there, but certainly in other supermarkets and with some manufacturers - is that products remain the same price but the quality or quantity is reduced. Just one example: I buy Waitrose Essential tissues, only because they have plain boxes with no branding once they are in use, and I like the colours (blue for the large ones and mauve  for the smaller ones). The tissues in the mauve box have recently become so thin that they disintegrate virtually immediately you use them. Same with Cushelle quilted toilet rolls. Well, they don't disintegrate, which would be revolting, but they have also got so thin that it's hardly worth buying the quilted ones. And as for  PG Tips ...... 🤬
