Just wanted to post and congratulate boulangerie jade for their shop on barry road. The staff are the loveliest people - they are efficient and make you feel very welcome - even with a buggy in such a small shop! Often staff are on their own coping with both customers sitting in and taking away - must be a challenge but they are unfailingly courteous and helpful. Hugely recommend - and thank you to owners for choosing and training up staff so well.

And their bread is fantastic. Of all the new businesses that have opened in ED in recent years, this is the one that has actually changed my life (albeit in a very minor way). Strolling down the road for a fresh baguette on a Saturday morning always puts a smile on my face.

I don't make it to the shop often, but the Dish and Spoon serve their croissants and every sodding week I'm lured off my low carb diet by the gorgeous little things.
