Secondhand pianos?

Recommended Posts

I don't think the Piano Lobby has a shop as such

I think this is the address - 26B Como Rd, London SE23 2JJ ‎

The contact details are on the website - might be worth giving him a ring to check - +44 (0)20 3645 3930

When we were looking for a piano we went to a few second hand shops - but didn't know about the piano lobby

The person who runs the Sydenham shop is really nice & chatty but none of the pianos we saw there were up to the standard we wanted - also everything I looked at privately - ebay etc the quality was poor

In the end we bought one from a friend of our piano teacher - she imports pianos from Japan & reconditions them (or rather that was where ours is from - not sure if this is the case for all the ones she sells) - it's been fantastic - it plays beautifully - will probably stay with us for life but it was around ?2K

It all depends what you want to use the piano for, how long you want to keep it & if you're happy to replace it when the pianist needs one of a better standard. Am happy to dig out the number of the woman we bought ours from if you PM me

    • Labours head of communications really should be advising Kier better.  We've had, so far, the budget will be bad, we've inherited a 20 billion black hole, the NHS is broken, and today "Britain isn't working" in relation to jobs and apprenticeships  Whilst honesty is a good thing, there are better ways of wording things Negativity drives negativity in situations like this, especially in business and businesses are what labour requires to grow the economy and offer jobs to the unemployed.  It does feel like Captain Kier has turned into Private Frazer crying  "we're all doomed"
