Clarkshaws microbrewery open day

We popped in to the new Clarkshaws microbrewery in Tyrrell Road yesterday afternoon for their open day. Lovely people and great beers ? they were serving a pale ale (Gorgon's Alive) and a dark best bitter (Phoenix Rising). Both were really very good. They've got some of their beer in The Herne for the real ale festival and are hoping to interest other pubs in SE22 and environs. They've certainly got a quality product (which is also vegetarian-approved), so best of luck to them. Here's their website:

Thanks for that. Good luck to them.

Hello all, thanks for the feedback and words of support.

I didn't realise that Facebook was so inaccessible so the website will be updated in the coming days to map where you can find us, or certainly to where we have delivered to recently!

At the moment, as well as the Herne, we should be on at the Cherry Tree by East Dulwich station and the Harp near St. Martins-in-the-Fields / Trafalgar square. We're still getting our beer into pubs so this list should get longer in time.

Thanks again

Ian

We're selling only in cask at the moment, but once we're more organised we hope to do bottle sales too
