multifuel stove

Hi there, Have a Morso Defra approved Multifuel stove, we are moving it from the lounge to the kitchen. Will be using a chimney liner et al. The existing chimney (Victorian)was vented for gas and has a chimney pot bonnet at the top. Is there anyway we can attach the flexible chimney liner to the pot bonnet rather than replace it with a new chimney pot? Any Suggestions?

we had woodburner installed in kitchen which previously was vented for gas and I'm afraid they had to go up a ladder, take the bonnet off and install a chimney pot!
