james_ja
Having looked at its layout i'd guess its a chip shop. The clothes shop that closed down on Melbourne Grove is now being refurb'd and also looks like a chip shop!! I may be wrong but that's my guess Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36800-activity-in-old-william-rose-shop-on-edg/#findComment-682316 Share on other sites
BrandNewGuy
Looks to me like sandwiches, snacks, coffee etc. There's a coffee machine installed and I saw a sign (which hadn't been put up) listing sandwiches. Will snoop some more... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36800-activity-in-old-william-rose-shop-on-edg/#findComment-682317 Share on other sites

ed_pete
If a coffee shop then perhaps this is in anticipation of the new Harris Primary School that I think is planned for the old hosptial site behind the blue hoarding opposite. Domme_Jay
Coffee shop, first thing that I noticed was the wonderful coffee machine, they are quite expensive. I was really worried that it would be another purveyor of saturated and trans fats but a nice sandwich shop/ cafe is great IMHO. I had a little chat and hopefully next year the garden area will be open again. WHY. ??? I have seen many posts on EDF with people asking where they can buy certain items locally. Do not see many posts asking where someone can buy a cup of coffee. Reached Saturation Point.
