Have to say that if I fancy a really good curry I'd leave ED and go to Babur's - still a favourite after 20 years!

The Coriander is awful - I don't know how they stay open. As for Surma, I was a regular until recently. I think the success has gone to their heads.

Coriander sems to get very mixed reviews. I went once with Mrs Keef, and we both left feeling like we'd had a really lovely (if a bit slow to arrive) meal. but others have said it's terrible, so maybe we just got lucky, or maybe they do some dishes better than others (I had Lamb chops of some sort, it was a while back).

I have never eaten in Coriander but get takeout from there quite regularly and have always found it very good.

It's another nowt special, standard curry place. It's inexpensive and the staff are friendly, but don't expect haute cuisine.

Some days are oilier than others, but that's true of the majority down LL.

Ganapati is South Indian, and well worth the walk to Bellenden.
