Cat Sitter Needed Urgently

Hi ED

I'm in desperate need of a catsitter from tomorrow for a couple of days, so was hoping there migth be some suggestions. After a search of the forum, I've tried sending a message to Heather via thewinglessbird.com and through here, but had no reply, and have tried calling Tina Welsh but no answer to landline or mobile.

Does anyone have any reliable and not ridiculously priced suggestions?

Thanks for all the replies everyone - it seems there are a lot of cat lovers in East Dulwich! Apologies if I didnt get back to you directly, but I now have lots of options for next time.

I suggest you do not use Tina Welsh.

We have been using Tina for over three years and we also travel often. We also trusted her until we recently installed CCTV in our house since our alarm is now connected to the police. We discovered that Tina only bothered to come once a day, leaving the catflap open all the time for the entire duration of our xmas holidays (two weeks). To top it up, she also did her laundry at our place using our machines (!!!!) on a number of occasions.

In summary: we no longer can trust such a fraud with your cats

I think for a couple of days you could get away without a sitter. We have 3 cats and at times have to go away for a couple of days, we leave out extra bowls of dried food and also water. We have a cat flap so they go in and out most of the day. We have used cat litter in extreme weather. Cats do not seem to mind. If we are away longer, a friend who lives about 10 mins walk away has our keys and pops in once a day to give them food.
