Hello, my ford focus was broken into (although no signs of forced entry) and raided. The got away with my ipod touch 4th gen 32gb serial CCQFNWBNFCP9, my dad's sat nav which i borrowed (TomTom XXL) was also nicked with my xloop sunglasses..if anyone sees these sold on here, or know anyone who has been offered this stolen gear, please let me so I can help get my things back, as they mean a lot to me! Also be extra careful in the Gipsy Hill / Dulwich Wood avenue area, as my car has self-locking (so even if I didnt lock it wudda self lock after 30 secs) either these guys are opportunists or have a special hacked unlocking fob! Cheers friends :)

This is happening really frequently at the moment. My sister used to work in the car industry and she explained to me that there are sophisticated thieves with devices that unlock your car so it seems as though you forgot to lock it. She mentioned something about their having to be nearby when you lock/ unlock your car in order to encode their device (although she has been out of the industry for about 8 years now so maybe it isn't the case anymore). I think the only way to prevent this is by not leaving any valuables in the car...as a matter of interest, as there was no forced entry presumably your car insurance won't pay out?
The same thing happened to me earlier in the year, I thought I hadn't locked it and it wasn't until I got into the car did I realise, as I never keep anything in the car they took my lock nut re-leaser, so had to buy a new set of lock nuts etc. I also found the contents of the boot on the side walk, luck for me no one had taken it !!! That same week three others all ford's were broken into but again very little taken.... sorry to hear this. I hope you will get your things back will keep an eye out for you!!
