Dear Parents,

Are you worried about the harsh chemicals your teenagers may be using on their skin, or are they starting to suffer from bad sink/ teenage spots?

Since the schools have opened our beauty specialist at The Groom Room is constantly being approached by parents for advise on how to control and maintain teenage skin. As a result we will be launching a new Teenage Skin Clinic from the 27th September, where our Dermalogica trained skin specialist will use the latest Face Mapping technology to analyse every aspect of their skin.

The Face Mapping technology provides our skin therapist an objective view on your child's current skin condition. It then enables our therapist to create a bespoke prescription which aims to prevent any further teenage skin issues like bad break outs.

Although we swear by Dermalogica skin care products, we don't want you to spend a small fortune on products without being sure you child will be using them. So to get them started and use to the idea of a daily skin care routine we will include a Dermalogica starter kit for your child to try out - without breaking your bank balance.

We are aiming to do our best to educate and prevent bad skin for teenagers as we don't feel there is enough correct advise available out there. We also understand how daunting it can be walking into a pharmacy and choosing the right skin care product, especially if it's their first skin care product.

We would love to hear your thoughts on this issue as parents.

We are also now taking bookings for our Teenage Skin Clinic, the clinic will start on Friday 27th Sept. The Teenage Skin Clinic will run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only and you need to book in advance.

Clinic duration: 30mins

Cost of clinic: ?35 including face mapping, bespoke prescription and Dermalogica starter kit.

Please contact The Groom Room on 0208 693 1818 for bookings and any further questions.

    • My annoyance Is with the fact that the gym is being closed for 5 weeks for refurbishment but we dont have an option to freeze our membership if the only facility we use is the gym. Apparently Peckham gym is closed at the same time for refurbishment which I think is pretty stupid. Therefore the nearest gym for all the members from ED leisure centre and Peckham leisurecentre is the one in Camberwell . I lament the everyone active days..at least I could attend gyms near to work and outside Southwark
